"textContent": "<p>KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A rainy Kansas City forecast has delayed the start of the White Sox game against the Royals on Sunday. </p><p>There wasn't estimated start time for the game, which was originally scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Showers were in the forecast for much of the afternoon. </p><p>First pitch was delayed by 25 minutes on Saturday due to rain as well. </p><p>The Sox are vying for a split in the four-game series, which has seen Chicago bats go silent <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/2026/04/11/white-sox-royals-shutout-kansas-city\" >in two straight shutouts</a>. </p><p>But fans are already looking forward to Tuesday's home game against the Rays, when top pitching prospect and Oswego East product Noah Schultz <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/2026/04/12/white-sox-call-up-noah-schultz-sam-antonacci\" >will make his MLB debut</a>, the team announced. </p>",
