  "textContent": "<p>An 88-year-old woman who was reported missing late last month was found slain, wrapped in a rug on the Far South Side Tuesday, according to authorities and a source.</p><p>Police were called to the 10700 block of South Lafayette Avenue Tuesday about 11:15 a.m., where they found the woman unresponsive, wrapped in rug, inside a home, police and a source said. </p><p>The woman, who was pronounced dead on the scene, died of multiple injuries from an assault, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office, which ruled her death a homicide. </p><p>The 88-year-old was last seen on March 27, according to a Chicago police missing persons report. </p><p>Area 2 detectives are investigating. </p>",
