  "textContent": "<p>Chicago police are asking for the public's help in identifying four people possibly linked to the fatal bludgeoning of a 25-year-old man who died after a fight in a bar in Avondale last month.</p><p><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2026/04/01/death-of-25-year-old-avondale-man-ruled-homicide-from-assault\" target=\"_blank\" >Alexander C. Kazanowski, 25, was found unresponsive</a> on the ground outside at 3942 W. Belmont Ave., with head injuries about 3:20 a.m. on March 24, Chicago police said.</p><p>Detectives learned that Kazanowski earlier had been \"forcibly removed\" from the Tune Up Bar, 3910 W. Belmont Ave., after a fight there, according to a police report.</p><p>He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition. Kazanowski, of the 4900 block of West Nelson Avenue, was later pronounced dead at 3:31 p.m., March 28th, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.</p><p>An autopsy on March 29th determined Kazanowski died of blunt head trauma from an assault, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner's office. </p><p>Anyone with information about the attack or those pictures is urged to contact detectives, (312) 746-6614 or submit an anonymous tip at CPDTIP.com and use reference RD # JK192078. </p><p>Area 5 detectives are investigating. </p>",
