  "textContent": "<p>Someone inside a white car opened fire at a red car, but instead hit a woman walking nearby as the attack also caused a crash on the Near North Side Monday night. </p><p>Around 9:30 p.m., someone inside a white sedan approached a red vehicle in the first block of East Chicago Avenue and began shooting, Chicago police said. </p><p>A 25-year-old woman was walking outside and was struck in the thigh by gunfire, police said. She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she was in fair condition. </p><p>The red vehicle was struck by gunfire and crashed into a black SUV, video shows. </p><p>Area 3 detectives were investigating. </p>",
