A teenage boy was hurt in a shooting in South Chicago Sunday night, police said.

The boy, 17, was on a sidewalk in the 8400 block of South Muskegon Avenue just before 7 p.m. when a car approached and someone inside fired shots, Chicago police said.

The boy was shot in the shoulder and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition.

No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.
