Boy, 17, killed in Montclare shooting

A 17-year-old boy was killed in a shooting early Friday in Montclare on the Northwest Side.

Around 12:50 a.m. police responded to a person lying on the ground and found the teen was shot multiple times to his body in the 6700 block of West Grand Avenue, Chicago police said.

He was taken to the Loyola University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Area 5 detectives were investigating.
