Man found dead after flames doused in Roseland fire

A 65-year-old man was found dead inside a home that erupted in flames early Thursday in Roseland.
The blaze erupted around 3 a.m. at a home in the 9600 block of South LaSalle Street and after firefighters extinguished the flames, they found the victim inside the home, unresponsive, police said.
He was was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No additional injuries or displacements were reported, officials said.
Fire officials were investigating.
