  "textContent": "<p>Scraps of sheet metal that slid off a semi truck during a crash with a car has caused the closure of multiple lanes on the Kennedy Expressway Wednesday morning on the Northwest Side. </p><p>Around 6:50 a.m., state troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at Kostner Avenue near the split with the Edens Expressway involving a semi, Illinois state police said. </p><p>One person was taken to an area hospital where their condition wasn’t immediately known, state police said. </p><p>The left three lanes on the Kennedy were blocked by the crash and the right three lanes on the Edens Expressway side — which is nearby — are currently blocked by larges pieces of sheet metal, officials said. </p><p>Extended delays are expected and motorists are urged to seek an alternate route.<br></p>",
