Man found dead on CTA Brown Line train at Belmont station

A man was found dead on a CTA Brown Line train, causing "major" delays Tuesday morning at the Belmont station in Lake View.
The unidentified man, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was found unresponsive on a train car in the 900 block of West Belmont Avenue around 5:15 a.m., Chicago police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
CTA Brown Line trains were back on the move after delays due to the police investigation at the Belmont station, located at 945 W. Belmont Ave., according to alerts and website information from CTA.
Detectives are conducting a death investigation, pending autopsy results, officials said.
