  "textContent": "<p>Police are investigating the Friday death of an 84-year-old woman in the Morgan Park neighborhood as a homicide, officials said. </p><p>Belinda Ruiz's son found Belina Ruiz \"cold to the touch\" around 8:45 a.m. Friday inside her home on the front room floor at 11000 S. Washtenaw Ave. according to Chicago police reports. </p><p>Responding paramedics said Ruiz died from apparently natural causes and she was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:12 a.m. Friday, according to police reports. </p><p>But an autopsy determined Ruiz's death was a homicide due to multiple injuries from an assault, the Cook County medical examiner's office said. </p><p>Area 2 detectives are investigating.<br></p>",
