  "textContent": "<p>The Chicago Public Schools’ inspector general’s office has launched an investigation into an employee at a Norwood Park neighborhood high school.</p><p>A staff member at William Howard Taft High School, 6530 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., has been accused of engaging “inappropriately with students,” according to a notice obtained by the Sun-Times. Taft Principal Ryan Glowacz sent the notice to students’ families Wednesday afternoon.</p><p>The employee has been removed from the school while the CPS inspector general’s office investigates, the notice said.</p><p>A final determination whether to reinstate the staff member will be made based on information learned during the investigation, Glowacz said.</p><p>“Please know that we are taking this situation seriously, and we remain committed to providing your children with a safe, positive learning environment where they can reach their full potential,” Glowacz said. “While I am unable to discuss details regarding the investigation, I am always available to discuss steps the district takes to keep students safe and matters related to your child.”</p>",
