  "textContent": "<p>A man was found shot to death late Monday in the hallway of an Englewood apartment on the South Side. </p><p>Around 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a call for service at an apartment building in the 800 block of West 66th Street where 24-year-old Terrell M. Britten was found in a hallway unresponsive with gunshot wounds to his face and abdomen, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said. </p><p>Britten, of the 6700 block of South Sangamon Street, was pronounced dead at 11:50 p.m. at the scene, the medical examiner's office said.</p><p>A weapon was recovered at the scene, authorities said. </p><p>Area 1 detectives were investigating. </p>",
