  "textContent": "Good Samaritans carried the body of a 13-year-old girl to a bus stop after someone opened fire into a park where she was filming social media videos and hit her Friday night in the Oakland neighborhood, police said.\n\nOfficers responded to a call about a person shot in the 3800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue about 10 p.m.\n\nAccording to a police report, the girl was standing inside Mandrake Park recording social media videos with friends, when an armed assailant entered the park near the basketball courts and shot several times in their direction.\n\nWitnesses carried the girl, who suffered multiple wounds to a bus stop at the northeast corner of Cottage Grove Avenue and Pershing Road, where an ambulance responded and took her in critical condition to Comer Children's Hospital.\n\nWitnesses told police that the offender fled in a gray Kia SUV.\n",
