Person killed in Chatham drive-by shooting

A person was shot to death Saturday in the Chatham neighborhood.
The victim, who police described as a male whose age wasn’t known, was near a sidewalk about 5:30 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Ingleside Avenue when an occupant in a car opened fire, Chicago police said.
He was shot multiple times and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one is in custody.
