"textContent": "<p>A man was charged in a fatal shooting that took place Tuesday in Washington Heights, according to Chicago police.</p><p>Bobby Martin, 26, faces a charge of first-degree murder, police said.</p><p>Antoine Alexander, 32, was in a parking lot at 9411 S. Ashland Ave., about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when Martin, who police said Alexander knew, walked up to him and shot him in his abdomen, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.</p><p>Alexander, of the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, according to the medical examiner’s office.</p><p>Martin is due in court Friday.<br></p>",
