  "textContent": "<p>Police are looking for an assailant in a red car who opened fire, shooting a man and his dog Tuesday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood. </p><p>It happened about 7:25 a.m. in the 300 block of East 117th Street, according to police. </p><p>The victim, a 50-year-old male was outside with his dog when a gunman exited a red car, approached on foot and opened fire, hitting the man in the abdomen and buttocks and the dog in its shoulder, police said. </p><p>The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was in good condition. The dog was also in good condition, police said. </p><p>The shooter returned to the rec car and sped away. </p><p>Area 2 detectives are investigating.<br></p>",
