  "textContent": "<p>A 6-year-old girl is in critical condition after being struck by a white SUV in Englewood on Friday morning. The vehicle then fled the scene, police said.</p><p>Two pedestrians were in the crosswalk in the 1700 block of West 69th Street about 7:42 a.m., when a white SUV traveling westbound struck both pedestrians, police say.</p><p>The 6-year-old girl was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition after sustaining several injuries. The other victim, a 15-year-old girl, sustained scrapes and was transported to Comer in serious condition, police said. No other injuries were reported.</p><p>No one is in custody, and the Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating. </p>",
