A Chicago woman is scheduled to appear before a judge Tuesday, charged with multiple felonies after allegedly stabbing and seriously injuring another woman Saturday in Roseland on the Far South Side.

Doniece Bell, 25, was arrested in the 9200 block of South Burnside Avenue roughly 30 minutes after the stabbing and charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery and burglary, Chicago police said.

The stabbing, which took place just before 10 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East 95th Street, left a 34-year-old woman seriously injured, police said.

Bell was scheduled to appear in court for a detention hearing Tuesday.
