"textContent": "
It turns out Chicago isn’t much of a New England Patriots town.

Who knew?

In this week’s “Polling Place,” your home for Sun-Times sports polls on the social platform X, we asked which team — the Pats or the Seahawks — you’re rooting for in Super Bowl 60. The results weren’t remotely close.

Then again …

“I did select the Seahawks,” @theirishkid45 commented, “but, honestly, I just want an entertaining game.”

“Not watching,” @TonyTrotmann wrote. “No Bears, no football.”

Next, we wanted to know what matters most to Super Bowl watchers aside from the action on the field. Bad Bunny’s halftime performance? The commercials? Gambling?

Nope, it’s food and beverages, preferably in copious amounts. It seems they are the lifeblood of Super Bowl Sunday.

“Can’t wait for some chili,” @EdDinIL commented.

\"(Belch) beer,\" wrote @GaryCinChicago, presumably an accomplished poet.

Last, we asked about the Bulls’ many — so many — trades before the NBA’s dealing deadline. Does anyone recognize this team whatsoever anymore? Any chance you're in favor of what the Bulls have done?

“It’s scary,” @DadsThumb wrote, “but this is making GarPax look good.”

On to the polls:

Poll No. 1: Are you rooting for the Patriots or the Seahawks in Super Bowl 60?

It’s time for another edition of “Polling Place.” Let us hear from you!
