  "textContent": "The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation has announced its new class of fellows, and three philosophers are among them. They are: Alan Baker (Swarthmore College) Kate Manne (Cornell University) Gina Schouten (Harvard University) From nearly 5000 applicants, 223 fellows working across 55 disciplines were selected. Philosophers account for approximately 1.3% of the selected fellows. The fellowships are for 6-12 months, with monetary awards of varying amounts, and are given with no strings attached.
