TL😀R was forced to buy a new MOBO and CPU due to a string of unfortunate events that had nothing to do with an actual hardware fault (cpu stuck to heatsink when i had to change the cooler), my old DDR4, which never had any problems in my old system, now is showing thousands of errors and im getting all sorts of memory access violations in browsers, games, and BSOD.\n\nRyzen 5500, AM4, in a ROG Strix B450F wifi board\n\nI set the ram to its required 16-18-18-18 3200 rate and 3.5 voltage (it was on auto initially till i had problems)\n\nI can sometimes go hours playing games and everything working fine, to constant crashes, i have reformatted 3 times to make sure its not a driver issue. I ran memtest last night and not only do i have errors - it only passed 8% of tests lol, which if true, is wild my PC is even posting.\n\nIm thinking that there is maybe a CPU memory config issue or some hidden setting somewhere that is making them not talk to each other. It seems really wierd...\n\nRead more",
