  "textContent": "The latest attempt by internet Muslim dawagandists to prove that Muhammad is mentioned in the Holy Bible is to now appeal to a 9th century translation of the LXX version of the Hebrew Bible into Arabic by an Assyrian “Nestorian” Christian scribe named Hunayn Ibn Ishaq. According to these polemicists, Hunayn rendered the Greek term for glory, _doxe_ , as _hmd_ , the Arabic word for praise and from which we get the names Muhammad, Ahmad, etc. This same translator rendered _ta doxa_ as _al-mahmudatu_ , and translated _endoxos_ as _mahmud_. These dawagandists take Hunayn’s translation as proof that Jesus prophesied Muhammad by name!\n\nIn light of this desperate attempt of finding their false prophet in the Holy Scriptures, I am now going to turn the tables by showing them that this actually confirms what I wrote in some previous articles that the Muhammad of the Quran is actually Jesus, and that the Holy Spirit is none other than Ahmad. See the links below for further proof.\n\n> “If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God (_to**tes doxes** kai to tou theou pneuma_) rests on you.” 1 Peter 4:16 LSB\n\nThe expression “the Spirit of glory,” refers to God’s Holy Spirit being glorious by nature just as the following versions demonstrate:\n\n> “… This shows that God's _glorious Spirit_ is with you.” CEV\n\n> “… It shows that the Holy Spirit is with you. He is God's _great Spirit_.” EASY\n\n> “… because _the glorious Spirit_ , the Spirit of God, ·is with rests on] you [Is. 11:1–2].” [EXB\n\n> “… this means that _the glorious Spirit_ , the Spirit of God, is resting on you.” GNT\n\n> “… for _the glorious Spirit_ of God is resting on you.” ISV\n\n> “… because _the glorious Spirit_ , the Spirit of God, is with you.” NCV\n\n> “… because _the Spirit of shining-greatness_ and of God is in you.” NLV\n\n> “… for _the glorious Spirit_ of God rests upon you.” NLT\n\n> “… _The glorious Spirit_ of God rests on you.” VOICE\n\nSeeing that the Muslim polemicists want to argue that the Greek term _doxe_ and its related forms refer to the Arabic word _hamd_ , from which we get Muhammad/Ahmad, this means that it is actually the Holy Spirit who is the real Muhammad/Ahmad!\n\nWe should therefore translate the verse in this manner, “for the Spirit who is Muhammad/Ahmad is with you and rests upon you.”\n\nBut it gets a whole lot worse for these Muhammadans.\n\nThe Holy Spirit is said to be another Paraclete,\n\n> “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Paraclete (_allon parakleton_), to be with you for all time, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; but you will know him, for he will dwell with you and will be in you.” John 14:16-17 MOUNCE\n\nWith Jesus being the other Paraclete who is now with the Father:\n\n> “My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have _an advocate with the Father (parakleton… pros ton patera)_ , Jesus Christ the righteous one.” 1 John 2:1 Mounce\n\nJesus himself is described as possessing all glory, being the very glorious Lord over all creation:\n\n> “But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our **glorious** Lord (_ton kyrion tes**doxes**_).” 1 Corinthians 2:8 NLT\n\n> “My brothers, stop holding the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, **the Glory** (_ton kyrion hemon 'Iesou Christou,**tes doxes**_), with partiality.” James 2:1 WPNT\n\nHere’s another translation:\n\n> “My brothers, as you believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, **who is the Glory** , pay no servile regard to people.” Moffatt\n\nOnce again, if we apply the logic of these Muslims to the aforementioned texts than this means Jesus is also Muhammad/Ahmad!\n\nAs such, we would have to translate these texts in the following manner:\n\n> “They would not have crucified the Lord [who is] Muhammad/Ahmad.”**(1)**\n>\n> “Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is Muhammad/Ahmad.”\n\nThis leaves us with Jesus and the Holy Spirit both being Muhammad and Ahmad, since both of them are described as glorious and are both said to be the Paraclete.\n\nThe Muslims are, therefore, left with the dilemma that the Muhammad of Islam is a satanic counterfeit whom the Devil concocted in order to lead folks away from the real Muhammad and Ahmad.\n\n\n\n\n## Further Reading\n\n**_The Quran and the Unlettered Prophet: Jesus or Muhammad?_**\n\n**_JESUS CHRIST: THE MUHAMMAD OF THE QURAN?_**\n\n**_AHMAD OR THE HOLY SPIRIT?_**\n\n\n\n\n## Endnotes\n\n**(1)** Worse still, a literal translation of 1 Cor. 2:8 would make Jesus the Lord of Muhammad!\n\n> “… they would not have crucified the Lord _OF_ glory.” LSB\n\nAgain, if _doxe_ and its related forms are to be rendered as Muhammad/Ahmad, then what Paul is saying is that Jesus is the Lord of Muhammad!\n\nIn other words, Jesus is Muhammad’s Lord, God and Judge, which he most definitely is!",
