"textContent": " * Will the rain ever end?\n * A few sniffles and coughs in the house this week which I inevitably caught, so I was unapologetically reluctant to do very much.\n * Work was reasonably busy with remote scoping calls and kick-off calls. I made it safely up to our Cambridge office on Tuesday in the courtesy car, met a few people who I used to manage for catch-ups, and then drove home. Offices are overrated.\n * I finished reading Station Eleven on my newish Kindle. An enjoyable end-of-humanity tale, which I missed on TV (must find it). Meanwhile theI found the Kindle much better for nighttime reading: it’s brighter and lighter than my previous ancient model.\n * Saturday’s under-10s football fixture for H was an ordeal for us both. First we needed a long detour to avoid roads closed in Hertford due to flooding, then we found the tiny car park was inadequate for so many cars. I let him out and circled for half an hour to eventually find a spot in the mud. He lost 3-2 in the driving rain.\n * However, two wins out of two for the Arsenal.\n\n",
