After months of begging Peter Parker is invited on another mission with the avengers. A headache and a worried Tony Stark make it difficult for him to prove himself. Long story short, Peter is wounded during the mission and won’t tell anyone about it. This fic is about learning to rely on others, even when you want to impress them. (I’m obsessed with Peter and Tony’s dynamic, so there will be a lot about them in there. Also, the story takes place after homecoming but before infinity war.) ——- To be worried about someone you have to care for that person. I do NOT care for Tony Stark. Not in that way at least. I won’t let myself. It is one of the only things I am completely certain about right now. So no. I will not stay behind because Tony is worried about me. Because he can’t be. Tony Stark does not care for me in that way either.
