Peter wonders if Tony remembers the little boy he saved amidst a sea of chaos the day of the Stark Expo. Peter has never actually brought it up in conversation before, and it’s very possible Tony has no idea they met seven years earlier than he thinks. But Peter will occasionally look at the scraped, cheap Iron Man helmet in his box of childhood toys, and he’ll think that, in a way, maybe it’s more sacred if Tony doesn’t know. Because Peter didn’t have to be special for Tony to care.
