But remnants remained, and the overprotective Natasha swallowed some of her pride to contact Tony Stark after the Sokovia Accords fiasco, arranging for Yelena to live in New York under a false identity. Tony Stark enrolled her at Midtown High School and arranged for her to live in a safe house in Queens, knowing that Peter Parker’s new recruit, Spider-Man, lived nearby. With the friendly wall-crawler’s help, Yelena gradually broke down her tough exterior and began to open up to her new friend.
