Peter looks up at him with the most innocent yet completely guilty face possible, knowing how entirely ineffective it is thanks to the washed out flush of his face. “I’m fine?” Peter replies, except when he says it, it does sound like a question. “Please, Harley, you can’t snitch.” He knows the pleading is futile; Harley is already shaking his head the same way he does when he’s frustrated by someone’s stupidity. Peter knows it’s got a caring undertone. It reminds him of Mr. Stark, actually. “It’s not snitching. It’s looking out for your wellbeing, which is technically my job.” Or, while Harley is leading Peter’s AcaDec team on a tour of Stark Industries, Peter is very obviously unwell.
