“Hey, kid. Ever been on a road trip?” Tony asked, clicking the pen in his hand repeatedly.

“A road trip?” Peter sounded interested. “Not in a long time, I haven’t. Why?”

“How would you feel about taking that assignment in Virginia? With the Veterans?“ Tony dropped the pen to pick at a loose thread.

“Hmm. Are you going to offer to drive there with me when you could literally just fly there?”

“Yep.”

“Oh, man. A quick flight, or being trapped with you in an enclosed space for hours and hours…count me in! I love road trips!” Peter sounded genuinely enthused. “When do we leave?”
