"textContent": "If I had to start my UX journey from scratch today, I wouldn't do it the way most people recommend. I wouldn't start by copying portfolios, and I certainly wouldn't start by jumping into Figma.\n\nThe industry is changing, and the \"tool-first\" approach is the fastest way to become obsolete. Here is my 2026 blueprint for building a career that actually lasts:\n\n### **1. Fix Your Process First**\n\nMost beginners learn UX the wrong way by focusing on the end result rather than the thinking. Your value isn't in how well you use a tool; it’s in how you solve problems.\n\n### **2. Learn Like a Curious Human**\n\nBefore you open any design software, learn how products actually work. Ask yourself: \"What value can I give to this industry?\". UX starts with human-centric thinking, not pixels.\n\n### **3. Stop Collecting Courses**\n\nThe biggest mistake beginners make is hoarding too many cohorts and YouTube playlists. A thousand videos won't help you if you don't apply the knowledge.\n\n * **Pick ONE mentor**.\n * **Do mock drills**.\n * **Get real feedback**. Remember: Cohorts don't sit in interviews for you.\n\n\n\n### **4. Design Like a Product Person**\n\nEvery screen needs a reason to exist. Shift your mindset by constantly asking:\n\n * Why am I designing this?\n * What problem am I solving?\n * Who benefits from this?\n * What changes if this doesn't exist?\n\n\n\nThis is how true product designers think. It's time to stop being a \"pixel pusher\" and start being a strategic thinker.",
