Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A line of thunderstorms over northern Illinois will track eastward toward the Lake shore this afternoon, while other storms form farther south. Damaging wind gusts may occur with the stronger storms. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles south southeast of Marseilles IL to 10 miles north of Racine WI.
