  "textContent": "WW 297 TORNADO IA MN NE SD 100135Z - 100800Z\n\n\n\n\n    URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED\n    Tornado Watch Number 297\n    NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK\n    835 PM CDT Tue Jun 9 2026\n\n    The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a\n\n    * Tornado Watch for portions of\n      Northwest Iowa\n      Southwest Minnesota\n      Eastern and Northeastern Nebraska\n      Southeast South Dakota\n\n    * Effective this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from 835 PM\n      until 300 AM CDT.\n\n    * Primary threats include...\n      A couple intense tornadoes possible\n      Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75\n        mph likely\n      Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2\n        inches in diameter possible\n\n    SUMMARY...Scattered severe thunderstorms are forecast to move into\n    the Watch area this evening and continue northeast during the late\n    evening and into tonight.  A mix mode of linear clusters and\n    possibly supercells will yield a risk for large hail and severe\n    gusts.  A couple of tornadoes are possible, especially with any\n    surface-based supercell or stronger embedded mesovortex within an\n    eventual band of storms.  A strong tornado may occur with any\n    established supercell.\n\n    The tornado watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles\n    east and west of a line from 20 miles northeast of Brookings SD to\n    45 miles southeast of Columbus NE.
