  "textContent": "WW 296 TORNADO NE 092245Z - 100500Z\n\n\n\n\n    URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED\n    Tornado Watch Number 296\n    NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK\n    545 PM CDT Tue Jun 9 2026\n\n    The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a\n\n    * Tornado Watch for portions of\n      Western and Central Nebraska\n\n    * Effective this Tuesday afternoon from 545 PM until Midnight\n      CDT.\n\n    * Primary threats include...\n      A few tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes possible\n      Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80\n        mph possible\n      Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3.5\n        inches in diameter possible\n\n    SUMMARY...Scattered severe thunderstorms are forecast to move into\n    the Watch area from the west and south during the early evening.\n    Additional storm development is possible as a low-level jet\n    intensifies this evening.  Supercells capable of all hazards are\n    possible.  A moisture-rich airmass with increasing low-level wind\n    shear may result in an intense supercell later this evening across\n    central Nebraska.  A strong tornado is possible.  Large to giant\n    hail (1 to 3.5 inches in diameter) is possible with the stronger\n    storms, as well as severe gusts with the more intense storms and\n    outflow.\n\n    The tornado watch area is approximately along and 105 statute miles\n    east and west of a line from 20 miles northeast of Valentine NE to\n    40 miles south southwest of Kearney NE.
