Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Thunderstorm coverage is expected to increase across the region this afternoon and evening. Moderate to strong instability and moderate deep-layer shear will result in strong to severe storms, with strong gusts as the primary severe hazard. Gusts around 75 mph are possible.
