"textContent": "WW 273 SEVERE TSTM SD 042225Z - 050600Z\n\n\n\n\n URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED\n Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 273\n NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK\n 525 PM CDT Thu Jun 4 2026\n\n The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a\n\n * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of\n Central and Eastern South Dakota\n\n * Effective this Thursday afternoon and Friday morning from 525\n PM until 100 AM CDT.\n\n * Primary threats include...\n Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2\n inches in diameter possible\n Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible\n A tornado or two possible\n\n SUMMARY...Severe storms including a few supercells may develop\n through early evening across central and east-central South Dakota,\n mostly north of the I-90 corridor. Additional severe storms,\n potentially as an organized line of storms, may move into the region\n by late evening and the early overnight with damaging wind/hail\n potential.\n\n The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75\n statute miles north and south of a line from 50 miles west southwest\n of Pierre SD to 15 miles south southeast of Brookings SD.
