Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A line of strong to occasionally severe thunderstorms is moving southeastward across central Alabama. This line is expected to continue southeastward through west-central Georgia this afternoon and evening, with a continued risk for damaging wind gusts. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles east and west of a line from 20 miles west northwest of Atlanta GA to 50 miles south southwest of Macon GA.
