  "textContent": "Our breakfast on Christmas day 2025\n\nThis is a family classic breakfast recipe, great for holidays and birthdays. Typically we make it the night before and bake it im the morning.\n\nAlso checkout the Breakfast Casserole recipe made by the Hoesterey family for a more savory recipe.\n\n## Summary\n\n  * Prep Time: 20 minutes.\n  * Cook Time: 45 minutes\n\n\n\n## Ingredients\n\n  * butter\n  * bread\n  * 6-8 eggs\n  * 1 quart cream\n  * vanilla,\n  * cinnamon sugar\n  * sliced fruit (blueberries, apples, or strawberries)\n  * powdered sugar\n  * maple syrup\n\n\n\n## Directions\n\n  1. Grease a glass casserole dish well with a stick of butter\n  2. Tear up bread and add to the dish\n  3. Mix 6-8 eggs: 6-8, cream: 1 quart, vanilla, and pour over the top\n  4. Top with cinnamon sugar and diced pieces of the remaining butter\n  5. Add sliced fruit (blueberries, apples, or strawberries) to the top\n  6. Bake covered with tin foil at 325°F (165°C) for 30 minutes and then uncover to brown for 15 minutes.\n  7. Serve with powdered sugar and maple syrup\n\n\n\n* * *",
