"textContent": "Taking place on Wednesday 15th July from 5pm to 6pm at Keele in Town, the new quarterly forum is being delivered through the Safer Newcastle Partnership, bringing together representatives from Newcastle-under-Lyme BID, Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council and Staffordshire Police.\n\nThe forum follows the launch of the Safer Newcastle initiative, a partnership approach focused on making the town centre safer, more welcoming and better connected. The campaign has already introduced a number of initiatives including a decimated WalkSafe app, the \"See It. Hear It. Report It.\" campaign and free access for town centre businesses to the DISC information-sharing platform, allowing businesses to quickly share intelligence and receive real-time updates from partner organisations.\n\nThe forum has been created to ensure businesses have a direct voice in shaping community safety priorities while improving communication between those working to keep Newcastle-under-Lyme safe.\n\nBusinesses attending can expect updates from partners on current issues, hear about new initiatives and campaigns, learn more about the support available and raise concerns affecting their business or area. Ahead of each forum, businesses will also be invited to submit questions and topics they would like to discuss, helping shape the agenda around the issues that matter most.\n\nA key message of the Safer Newcastle campaign is encouraging everyone to report concerns.\n\nStaffordshire Police and Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council rely on information from people on the ground to take action. If it's not reported, it can't be dealt with. Even small pieces of information can help build a bigger picture and make a real difference.\n\nCharlotte Pearce, Newcastle-under-Lyme BID Manager, said:\n\n> \"The Safer Newcastle Partnership is all about working together. Businesses see and experience the town every day, so it's important they have a regular opportunity to share concerns, hear directly from partners and understand the work that's taking place behind the scenes.\n\n> \"The new Community Forum will provide an open conversation every quarter, ensuring businesses remain informed while helping shape future priorities. Alongside initiatives such as WalkSafe, the Women's Safe Space, DISC and the wider 'See It. Hear It. Report It.' campaign, we're continuing to build a safer, more connected town centre for everyone.\"\n\nThe Community Safety Forum takes place at Keele in Town, Ironmarket, on Wednesday 15th July from 5pm until 6pm and is open to businesses across Newcastle-under-Lyme.\n\nBusinesses wishing to attend or find out more can email **hello@nulbid.co.uk**.\n\n### Join The Staffordshire Signal on WhatsApp\n\nNever miss a single breaking update, local news story, community event, or deep dive.
