  "textContent": "However, renovation costs can be high, and many self-renovators are looking for ways to cut spending without compromising on results.\n\nAnalysis of Community RePaint locations by Fast Loan UK shows Staffordshire is home to 13 paint redistribution centres - one of the highest concentrations anywhere in the UK.\n\nThe centres can be found across the county, including Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Cannock and more.\n\nMoney-saving experts predict these schemes could save Brits over £300 on unnecessary paint purchases while cutting back on waste.\n\nHouseholds could be missing out on free paint whilst 50 million litres go to waste, every year, in the UK.\n\nJoe Brunt, Consumer Finance Expert at Fast Loan UK, has explained how these schemes are helping homeowners save money,\n\n> “Across the UK, there are budget-friendly schemes like Community Repaint and re3paint, which are paint-reuse networks that redistribute leftover and surplus paint to households and community groups at low cost, or for free, instead of sending it to landfill.\n\n> “The average cost of painting a living room in the UK is around £150-£300, once you factor in brushes, rollers, sheets and other supplies, this could rise. By using paint reuse schemes, households can cut decorating costs, while giving a second life to a perfectly usable can of paint.”\n\nJoe adds,\n\n> “Distribution centres don’t just save people money, they help the environment too.
