"textContent": "Stoke-on-Trent City Council says the fitting may have been affected by the recent extreme fluctuations in temperature. Following the incident, the site was immediately inspected and a decision was taken to close the station while checks and repairs are carried out.\n\nWork has been taking place throughout yesterday, overnight and today to ensure all light fittings are safe before the station reopens. The council is aiming to reopen the bus station over the weekend.\n\nPassengers can still travel as normal, with bus services continuing to operate from temporary stops nearby.
