What does “Updated Database” actually mean?

Every month or so I update Singapore Buses with the latest data from the Land Transport Authority. And every month the *What's New *section on the App Store usually says something along the lines of: Updated database and routes. What does that actually mean? Well, starting with 2026.3, which is Waiting for Review, I've decided to include the month-to-month differences in the *What's New *section.
