Truth Or Dare: If Not For Me, Colorblind, and Windwaker

One of the hottest tours of the summer — The Hounds of the Underground with If Not For Me, Colorblind, and Windwaker — is starting soon, and what better way to kick things off than with a game of Truth Or Dare with the vocal forces behind each band?

If Not For Me is one of my favorite bands. I discovered them years ago after a random press release from Thriller, and the talent these guys had was undeniable. I ended up covering a show for them when they toured nearby, in a 50-cap venue, and they blew me away. Not only that, but they’re arguably the sweetest band I’ve ever met! I can’t say enough good things about these guys!

Colorblind has definitely been on the rise as well! They have a unique take on alt-rock/post-hardcore/modern-alt that is known as “dreamcore.” I was a little late to the train on this one, but I’ve had them on repeat ever since. Vocalist Travis Moseley has a unique and refreshing voice, and I think he’s one of the best vocalists in the modern scene.

Windwaker , an Australian metalcore band, was named after the Legend of Zelda video game of the same name. If that’s not enough to pique your interest, then I don’t know what is. They seamlessly blend electronics, aggression, and massive choruses, making them the perfect choice for this lineup!
