Hello, atmosphere

Lately on Bluesky you may have seen special link cards for blog posts, sort of like OG images. bluesky-card.png Behind those cards is Standard.site, a shared schema for publications on the AT Protocol. Bluesky and other apps can read metadata from your blog in an agreed-upon format and display it in rich UIs. There are plenty of good AT Protocol explainers out there, and Standard.site itself is nice and legible. For integrating a blog that uses a popular framework/static site generator with Standard.site, Sequoia seems like a good option. That didn't work for the Val Town blog, though, which is built on Val Town and doesn't have a build step. So after wiring up Standard.site with the Val Town blog, we created this minimal template for new blogs to work with Standard.site. Remix this val to start your own atmospheric blog, or to extract the Standard.site bits for your existing blog. We're open to suggestions for improving the template—feel free to reach out, or open a PR.
