Israel will use military courts to try Palestinian terrorists who kill Israelis, sentence them to death, make it especially easy to convict them, and rush to execute them. The law has been contrived to discriminate between Palestinian terrorists and Israeli terrorists. However, some of these distortions of justice should never be allowed, regardless of the crime or the circumstances. *The Guardian view on Israel’s death penalty: capital punishment is always wrong.
