German state fired head of Berlin film festival

The German state has fired the head of the Berlin film festival, apparently for refusing to ban criticism of Israel there. She had opposed calls for the festival itself to take a specific stand, instead saying that artists presenting films there should be free to express their views. Apparently such freedom is now considered "antisemitic".
