The US military waited 40 hours to send a plane to try to rescue them. It did not find anyone.\n\nNo survivors have been rescued after any of these murder missions.\n\nThe article speculates that this was intentional — that commanders intended the survivors to die. What is indisputable is that they did not make a competent attempt to rescue the survivors.",
