  "textContent": "In the world of podcasting there are a variety of tools that range from hosting providers, that syndicate your audiocasts across the player platforms, to the repurposing tools and more.\n\nSince I have posts that talk about the repurposing or marketing aspects of content creation already. I focused more on what could improve your podcast, or what could make a difference in how you make your show.\n\n* * *\n\n## #10 - Podcast Hosts\n\nInstead of picking any particular host out, such as the one I use Transistor FM, I decided instead to just put the category here.\n\nAs the first thing you should have tool wise, as a podcaster, IS a podcast host to get you distributed. There are some tools that are free, but for the most part you are going to have to pay.\n\n* * *\n\n## #9 - Recording Tools\n\nHow you actually RECORD your podcast is a whole other story. Since a majority of podcasters ARE doing Video now, then the major video podcast recording tool is: Riverside FM. Although I have a love/hate thing with them, they still are more stable than the other tools.\n\n> If you are doing it just yourself, then **Audacity** is the way to go!\n\n* * *\n\n## #8 - Spotify for Creators\n\nFormerly Spotify for Podcasters, this is the dashboard you would use to make changes to your show on the Spotify platform.\n\nNow considering Spotify is really the only audio platform you should even really particularly care about. Considering how **_awful_** Apple Music is for Podcast distribution. This is the tool you'd need to maximize your use of the platform.\n\nYou can go in and as of the time of this writing, add in clips for every podcast (one per episode currently). As well as, you can add the Video version of the episode if you have one, which is a great upgrade.\n\nThis is technically a free podcast host as well, but there are better options.\n\n* * *\n\n## #7 - Elevenlabs\n\nI think some people would argue the placement of this tool on this list, but the variety of features that Elevenlabs provides makes it have a spot.\n\nFrom audio dubbing, text to speech (you could even make a podcast from that), and even some voice enhancement tools. I think a lot of podcasters would benefit from looking at what this platform could do for them.\n\n* * *\n\n## #6 - Podsqueeze\n\nFrom audio enhancement to content repurposing. This tool really does offer so many things for you and your show. Helping you create a workflow from post-production and beyond.\n\n* * *\n\n## #5 - EarBuds Podcast Collective\n\nWhile not a tool in of itself, I figured this one time I was going to bend the rules a bit. The collective publishes lists of podcasts, hosts events, and even showcases various deserving shows.\n\n> \"A listener-curated list, every week, sent to your inbox.\"\n\n* * *\n\n## #4 - Beamly (formerly PodcastPage)\n\nNot to be confused with PodPage, this tool PodcastPage is one of the most peculiar Website Builders I've come across. It is also one of the only ones that lets you show off all three of your content types (written/audio/video).\n\nThis is a tool I've taken more and more interest into. It being one of the only all in one content management systems I've come across. Without the enterprise complexity, and lack of interface design of Hubspot for example.\n\nI think a lot of podcasters could grow their audience a lot more, if their website was more capable than what the traditional podcast host gives you.\n\n* * *\n\n## #3 - MatchmakerFM and Podmatch\n\nI'm including both of them as one, as their purpose is the same. Find guests or shows to collaborate with. Now personally I've not had good experiences with either in the last couple years.\n\nMatchmaker is basically dead in the water, and Podmatch's categorization leaves a lot to be desired. Thus as a multidisciplinary person myself I can't be categorized well, and so I don't find any matches.\n\nHowever I've had great conversations with people from both! So it is worth mentioning if you haven't gone onto them.\n\n* * *\n\n## #2 - Deciphr\n\nAnother repurposing tool, but with the vast variety of output. Even a bulk uploader, which that is unique for this type of content tool.\n\nThere is a lot offered here, and while I haven't personally used it myself. Thus I can't give it the A-Ok 👍. I have heard of a number of people using it.\n\nPerhaps give this one a gander, and see if it will work for your workflow too!\n\n* * *\n\n## #1 - Podchaser\n\nTo me this seems like the best aggregator on the market, or at least the most widely used one. It helps with ratings, finding guest profiles, and sharing your show in a unique way. I know there are other tools out there like it, but this one seems to stand out.\n\nTo me a Podchaser podcast review is way more powerful than a simple Apple podcasts review. People who are more related to helping your show are likely to see it on Podchaser. It is also a good way to reach your guests too, or have people find you through that network.
