Testing new iOS backend

So I restarted in a completely blank project and was able to get the simulator started but I’m getting just a black screen. Running on the desktop works fine. Since I can run the examples project I assume it’s some sort of gradle configuration I am missing, but I don’t know enough about iOS development to really diagnose what is going on.
