My renewed IDE is getting more and more options (there’s a separate dedicated thread documenting most of the progress). I would like to share here the latest progress - Cinematic Camera :

The Idea is simple - the user adds a “Cinematic Rig” which is a composite of 1 or more (as much as the user wants) circles where each circle can contribute 1 or more segments (start & end points) to the rig. Each track can be played and tested separately:
In the end the Cinematic rig will have segments (tracks) which can be played against a given target (game object + offset).
What’s next? I plan adding transition function between tracks and easing functions for each track and of course wire everything to the scripting language. I feel that the IDE is becoming pretty mature so in the coming weeks I’m going to try using it in as much as possible game jams. The IDE & a sample fighting game are free open source for anyone to use. Cheers!
