And the temporal component helps with smoothing out the noisy screen space reflections.\n\nBeside the actual rendering, which takes 28ms (including vxgi cone tracing) the biggest hit is the volumetric fog. The pipeline is quite tunable and support cheaper fallbacks for most techniques. And i suspect there is still an issue with the actual renderering. the 28ms seems a bit costly for the relative simple scene. Could be cone tracing only, and in that case it is also tunable.",
