  "textContent": "last post from my gi endevour.. here is a comparsion between no gi and vxgi. while in my opinion the gi version looks better, it is not worth the performance hit. and i run out of ideas on how to optimize\n\n\n\n\n\nlittle update, i found a bug in my implementation, i missed to reset the plane state when dooing the frustum culling so i was actually rendering the whole scene 3 times for each tiny voxel grid update. now it runs realtime even while moving fast.\n\ni think the test was quite unfavorable for GI, so here is a new comparsion with shadow casting enabled. now the visual quality is quite different and it shows better where GI really matters.\n\n\n",
